It would be cool to have photos on the profile image – is that possible, or too hard to do?

Two box types for the Ford V8 are here:

    Ford V 8

But I have never seen myself that older type! 🙁

Kjehr – that is a fantastic collection. (I hope you can read English, sorry I am the only non-Scandinavian on this list.) I collect Tekno, Vilmer, and now B.P. Also 1/43 Alfas since they are easier and cheaper to find!

Those are great TdF models. Some of the first ones were by PR France, these 2 in front on the sides!

They must have printed some more or found some old stock because it is back again on their site!

Well worth it for a Tekno collector even though it might not be perfect.

Ole – have you made any progress on he Vilmer Historie article? I want to update my Vilmer article from many years ago that was published in Model Auto review (UK), unless you are working on one now.

I think they are worth more than 800 DKK each, if they are not repaints. Maybe double that! I have never seen one on ebay ever.

I agree – do not touch them – too rare to do anything to. Unless they need a tire or wheel perhaps. Hopefully all of them say Mecline on the Baseplate!

I know you like nice new paint, so you could just send them to me! 🙂

I like those tourist toy buses! Hamleys is a nice souvenir. The Corgi is also a good find! Good detail. Do you think it is 1/50 or 1/43?

    A very nice idea – it’s a Tekgi Toy!

It does not look silver painted up close, so I think plated. It is very old so the white plastic may look ivory. But today, I would call it ivory. I do not have one to compare to, so I am not sure.

    Bertel,

I just went to London two weeks ago – no real toy car stores there anymore. Two famous outdoor markets might have something:
    http://www.portobelloroad.co.uk/ – on the street
http://www.graysantiques.com/ – indoor, used to have 2 toy car booths
    Camden Road – maybe

and then visit the Transport Museum (a lot of it is for kids but still fun). http://www.ltmuseum.co.uk/ – 100s of toy buses for sale in the gift shop upstairs.

I love the colors on this one! How many ‘Tekdos’ do you have now? Or are they ‘Lleknos’? Please keep going.

Same mechanism as the ladder trailer, I think. They both spring back when twisted.

Knut – I have a nice example if you need photos of any of the parts. I am not sure what you are asking. Fore the small parts, I have no idea where to get replacements – a hobby shop or train shop? Let me know if you want a photo of something. I have never unscrewed the baseplate…

More great Tekno re-interpretations. I can’t say Tekno fakes because they are not Tekno! I can not say re-productions because they were never produced! 🙂

When you have 10!!!! Jeeps, you can start to see those small variations. I have only 2, so I will have to check them to see if they have straight or bent bumpers! Thanks for the information!
