ParticipantLooks like a large crowd was there! You had a great display! But you were the ONLY one with Old School biler? Oh well! Those 2 car transporters are very nice and bright with great paint and decals!

ParticipantNice ad – thanks!

ParticipantAfter many years, I found one from eBay UK! In poor shape with a reproduction box, but that is OK with me! With Tekno on the box…

ParticipantI think everyone will want an IRMA box made from an old coffee box! I know I do! 🙂
Stroget
ParticipantGreat work! Very nice to put in the Tekno cabinet!

ParticipantI am writing the next part of my Vilmer History for MAR Online (Bedford TK and Ford Thames Trader) – the previous one is https://www.maronline.org.uk/the-history-of-vilmer-toys-part-vii-cars-and-other-small-vehicles/
I was looking at the decals I have left over from the factory (directly from the son) and saws these!!! There are 4 names that Vilmer wanted to use:
Røde Rolf
Røde Hugin
Røde Hauk
Røde OrmBecause they printed these decals – they are very yellowed and very fuzzy!

ParticipantMine has no words on it, but perhaps they used different versions on the same car?

ParticipantThen that is the flag – blik and rectangular! 🙂

ParticipantDo you have any photos? It will be hard to glue the metal back together.
Light blue sounds like a good color to repaint it!Stroget
ParticipantThat wqas too bad it was just a little too big, but looks good on the larger Tekno NL truck!

ParticipantBertel – great job on the new parts for the Skip Truck! Very well done!

ParticipantThat’s why my name is Stroget here, and not Strøget… 🙂 In any case, that is a rare van but most of those old VWs are rare. The decals are mostly gone so, it’s a personal decision. If you restore it, it will look much better but it will not be worth much more. You already bought the decals, so go ahead and do it. Please mark it on the bottom with your initials or signature, so others know it is a repaint.

ParticipantA Vilmer gun – I have never seen that before! Very nice! Thanks for the photos of it, ‘Mountain Collector’!
I have only seen the machine gun mounted on the Chevy. The white cross ambulance has a rare search light as well… (Photos from my MAR Online article.)

ParticipantThank you, Bertel. I have the Tekno already! But not in black. It has a replacement screw on the bottom, do you think? If you can not sell it there, I would take it to help you. But I need the Vilmer version.

ParticipantShane – great Batmobile lineup! That was a lot of work!
Bertel – If you ever see a Vilmer Mercedes 180 sedan at the collectors market, you know who wants one badly! 🙂

ParticipantGood luck with the auction!

ParticipantI live in the US and do not have flea markets, etc, to go to to buy old beat up Vilmer for parts, so I have never taken one apart. It seems they found a good way to attach the windshield to the bottom of the cab – Perhaps like a rivet or press fit with a hole in it for the steering? I am sorry I can not help.
