Vilmer vs. Chico Foderbus!
That’s very unusual to have so many in the black boxes. Did the person work for Tekno or Kirk? If you have not sold them, where are they for sale now? I would like to bid on them. You can look on ebay for prices sold to see if any were there recently – in the black Action boxes.

I just saw your message – I am sorry but I can only write in English. I have been collecting Tekno since I was a boy in the 1960s and switched to Vilmer when the Teknos got too expensive and I had all of them that I wanted. Tekno had a longer lifespan as a company and really made detailed, well-engineered toy cars. They were better than Corgi and Dinky at the time. Vilmer started later and ended a year before Tekno, more or less.
Vilmer were more toy like and were less popular/distributed outside Denmark. I am writing up a history of them in English: https://www.maronline.org.uk/the-history-of-vilmer-toys-part-i/

Ole – thanks you for the piano and cement car photos. It’s fun to learn about Vilmer cars that I have never seen before! Could I use some of your phots in my MAR Online articles?
Hans Jørgen – what did the man say about his Mother and the Vilmer factory? What did she do there? Very interesting about the Vilmer – Molberg connection. Did the son tell you all this? It was very lucky to have found him.
Hans Jørgen – yes, #1 is the army piano truck and #5 is like Ole’s blue truck.

It has been 6 months since my last one! I know how hard Peter must work on his Tekno articles. It takes a lot of time!
There were several versions of each one. I assume you mean the production number for each one. I do not think there are any records from the factory to ever indicate that. Someone else here might know.
Sounds like a good option. A vice might crush the fuselage. Even if you use padding. I am sure they had a special tool in the factory to apply the correct pressure!
Beautiful airplanes! And a very nice comparison. Tekno had such nice LANDING GEAR! I used to live in DK in the sumerms as a oy – 1968-74. But I am American and live in indianapolis now. Where do you live, if you don’t mind me asking?

Ole – thank you for mentioning my MAR Online articles on Tekno Katalogs. I started looking for them in 1970!!! 🙂 And I am still searching!
