DC 7 is almost complete broken tail fin is strong and not going to fall off any time soon , motors , propellers and pins x 4 , landing gear x 3 , decals all from Peter and
very little adjustment needed to get them to fit and work as they should .All I need to do is a little more sanding to smooth propellers a bit more and a good polish to bring back the shine .What an awesome result Shane – jealous – pretty sure my skills wouldn’t get me there.
What solution did you end up with for getting the two fuselage parts put back together?
hi Michael , to get the two parts back together I drilled out the holes the pins had to go into just enough so the fit was loose then glued into place and clamps used for wood work to lock it all together . Glad you like my humble effort I have a couple more to restore one day hopefully be even better .
