Sorry for the confusion. I used the old small ‘Dodge’ article as an example. I am nor working on the Chevy article.
But everyone replied with the small ‘Dodge’ photos, so we switched to talking about them.
I try to put the Dodge as ‘Dodge’ since I know that Vilmer never called them Dodge but many other people do…. 🙁
Thank you, Ole. I will add your photo to my Vilmer article Part IV (link above). Part V will be about the Chevy, but I am still working on it.
Yes, Bertel. I wanted one at €13, but I would not pay the high postage. The postage is the same as buying 4 more trucks!!!
Bertel – that small Carlsberg with suspension looks like the same design of the Chevrolet with suspension! I have never seen one of either of them. My small Dodge barrel truck has NO suspension and NO steering!
Tak!!!

I do not collect them but here is a nice site: https://www.meccanoindex.co.uk/Other/Tekno-1/index.php?id=1600204052
That is my catalog sheet, but you have good eyes. 🙂 I did not see the small bumps on the ladder. Right click on the photos and open in new window. https://www.maronline.org.uk/the-history-of-vilmer-toys-part-iv-the-small-dodges/
I need to start on Part V soon! All comments and corrections are welcome.
Kim and Bjerg’s Nacoral Volvo cars are great. Like Tekno but slightly newer models!

hobbyDB is not just for sale – its for people’s collections too. Mine are there, but they are not for sale!
Very nice generator truck!!!
Most (or all) of these are mine: https://www.hobbydb.com/marketplaces/hobbydb/subjects/tekno-tinplate-series
Can I add your variants to hobbyDB?
I do not have the blue one, sorry, but from google: https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/tekno-denmark-falck-blue-ambulance-1695655425
Congratulations1 an amazing find! Those are all great! How did the paint on the convertibles survive so nicely – but the windshields did not? They do not look like they were ever played with!
Tak! I also have only one – but a different one!

So the special box was for all three versions! 230 – 250 – 280. I do believe after all this discussion that this could be a unique piece for the gift museum. The only large importer/assembler/dealer that ‘got away’ with using the official MB images/trademarks on a gift box of his own design. The 1950-60s were different times!
Karl (still alive with no extra gift boxes in my collection!)
