I have the same one, bought at a local auction many years ago, in Indianapolis, USA. A very strange place to find it!

Knut – because there are 2 completely different types of Lion trademarks, that is why i think there were 2 Lion companies in Denmark. One related to Lion Holland and one related to Molberg(?)
Thanks Ole and Flemming! And great article Peter. If you need my scans from hobbyDB, please use them.
I really enjoy the Tekno-discussions here on the forum and all the great articles that peter has written for the collector community.
I’ve only seen it with the flat sides to fit the rear cover like this one: https://auctionet.com/en/20006-modellbil-tekno-volvo-tackt-lastbil-un-88-united-nations-vit/images#image_1
But the other one looks original to me too! Both shipped and played with…
I scanned mine and put them online here:

The Toyota is there – I do not have the Porsche.
Can I add yours, Flemming and Ole, to this site?
London – not many places left for model cars.
http://www.stmartinsmodels.co.uk/ – expensive but nice to ‘window-shop’
https://www.ltmuseum.co.uk/ – Covent Garden, nice gift shop with lots of model buses!
http://www.graysantiques.com/ – used to have 2 or 3 good booths with obsolete old toy cars and trucks. Found some Vilmer there MANY years ago.Have a good trip! Karl
Yes, My Speigel came in the Walco box many years ago and has TEKNO on the bottom.

Does anyone have a better scan of the old Tekno catalog? i think this is the tall, skinny red one. I do not have it.

If you look at the Lion Car Holland lion trademark and the small Lion on the Mercedes race car and Ford van they are NOT the same Lion. Thus, I think there were two companies.
If the wheels or tires are the same, I assumed that one company made them and the others bought the parts from the 3rd party (outsourced like they do now?).
Very nice! Are new grills and headlights easy to find over in DK?

Two PR trucks – for the Tour de France. Metal, 1950s? about 1/50 scale. These were real trucks in the Tour caravan many years ago. Norev remade them but called them CIJ though.
