ParticipantThanks Ole and Flemming! And great article Peter. If you need my scans from hobbyDB, please use them.
I really enjoy the Tekno-discussions here on the forum and all the great articles that peter has written for the collector community.

ParticipantThe Corgi cab matches the red flags perfectly! Nice!

ParticipantSee if they have any model vans/trucks with Hamley’s on them! Lledo (Days Gone) used to do that!

ParticipantI’ve only seen it with the flat sides to fit the rear cover like this one: https://auctionet.com/en/20006-modellbil-tekno-volvo-tackt-lastbil-un-88-united-nations-vit/images#image_1
But the other one looks original to me too! Both shipped and played with…

ParticipantI scanned mine and put them online here:

The Toyota is there – I do not have the Porsche.
Can I add yours, Flemming and Ole, to this site?

ParticipantLondon – not many places left for model cars.
http://www.stmartinsmodels.co.uk/ – expensive but nice to ‘window-shop’
https://www.ltmuseum.co.uk/ – Covent Garden, nice gift shop with lots of model buses!
http://www.graysantiques.com/ – used to have 2 or 3 good booths with obsolete old toy cars and trucks. Found some Vilmer there MANY years ago.Have a good trip! Karl

ParticipantA great idea! I hope you are creating two future Tekno collectors!
Stroget
ParticipantThose are good replacements though! The two caps look like they fit perfectly!
Stroget
ParticipantSorry, I don’t speak Danish. Can you wedge it in? I do not see how to take it apart…

ParticipantVery nice VW Bug, Made in Holland!!! Seems to be very rare and in very good condition!
Stroget
ParticipantIf the glue is not that good, then very hot water sometimes loosens the glue also!
Stroget
ParticipantIf you look at the Lion Car Holland lion trademark and the small Lion on the Mercedes race car and Ford van they are NOT the same Lion. Thus, I think there were two companies.
Stroget
ParticipantIf the wheels or tires are the same, I assumed that one company made them and the others bought the parts from the 3rd party (outsourced like they do now?).
Stroget
ParticipantI like Anders version! Very nice! And it has the old Tekno style!
Stroget
ParticipantSoak in hot water? Did you get it off?
Stroget
ParticipantVery nice! Are new grills and headlights easy to find over in DK?

ParticipantTwo PR trucks – for the Tour de France. Metal, 1950s? about 1/50 scale. These were real trucks in the Tour caravan many years ago. Norev remade them but called them CIJ though.
Stroget
ParticipantYour English is fine – no problem!
There are 2 cars from France in there – Watermans and Andre Le Chat. They are 1960s promotional cars for the Tour de France by PR. I think PR only made these two cars… In recent years they were remade by Norev… I hope I did not confuse anyone.

ParticipantHans Jorgen – wow! The one page ad and the Spanish website! That is the 1st time I have seen any concrete dates published for Dalia-Tekno! 1969-approx 72 !! Tak. Thanks for posting!!!
