ParticipantI think that Joal and Pilen as you mention is copied from Kirk models. But one must also note that it is the same real car reproduced, and assume that the models are relatively similar. But I have about 800 VW Beetles. It should be a collection of models in different sizes and color. But it is not just. The shape is reproduced in many different ways.
In photos you can see the screws in the bottom of Joal / Pilen, and that they are in different places. Mercedes 230SL you can see between the bumbers on the back.
A German collectors homepage of Mercedes 300SL. They describe, 300SL WALCO models where WALCO had to grind the Tekno name away before they sold the models. They believe it was in 1969-70.The model was incidentally also sold in KIRK box.
I have had little contact with any Spanish collectors who think that Dalia-Tekno models was 1974-82, but someone says 1980. Could be 1980 but the cars were still in stores in 1982 ?
