Peter’s history and interviews about Berico have been republished in English. Originally published here in Danish and then in Model Auto review (UK) at http://www.zeteo.com/mar, we have tranformed MAR into an online blog. I am the US editor and have copied the story over to:

Please take a look and subscribe to the blog if you want to (at the bottom left)!

The only thing I am very doubtful of, is the Jaguar E-Type in dark gray metallic. I do not think it came before 1965? Maybe someone knows more ? It is not seen as often.
My own play models back in the sixties was the dull cream yellow, later a red one. Both lost the engine cover. I always thought the gray metallic was nice.

The copyright is 1965 on the original idea so perhaps they added the Tekno Jaguar in 65 or later in 66 or 67? It was the last one in the series (I think) so it could have been after 1965. It is all a guess on my part, so who really knows?

“as the Tekno model” with “California kit” came in 1956, and in 1957 there was room for hardtop and a spare, in the trunk. In 1959 came a new four seater model.januar 6, 2016 kl. 12:33 #32645Bertel PedersenParticipantHi Karl.
Wery nice work with Peter’s history and interviews about Berico.
So you are US Editor on the Model Auto review (UK).
Do you have a photogallery on that site or a website of your own with pictures of your dyecast model collection?
